(VEE) GERMANY, ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE HOSTS MICHELA MURGIA

(VELINO) Roma, 10 May - The Italian Cultural Institute in Hamburg will host Italian writer Michela Murgia tomorrow, 11 May, for an evening devoted to her. With the novel "Accabadora" she won the Premio Campiello in 2010. In her new literary endeavour, Murgia again explores the inter-personal emotional ties between Eleonora, a 38-year-old woman, and Chiru', who is 18. Michela Murgia was born in 1972 in Cabras (Oristano, Sardinia), has studied theology and has taught religion in schools. vel
