(VELINO) Roma, 3 May - Naples and Campania will be the main subjects of a photo exhibition called "Metabolismo Napoletano" [Neapolitan Metabolism], by Luciano and Marco Pedicini. The exhibition, organised and hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Brussels, offers an extraordinary interpretation of some of the most iconic sites of the Neapolitan region. The photographic eye of the authors provides an innovative visual experience. Buildings, open spaces and artworks from ancient times seem to speak the same language. Naples has proven to be able to revitalise itself, although innovation might sound traumatic or painful. It has welcomed and transformed change by merging it with its own culture, returning a four-dimensional image, developed in space and time, yet still visible as a marvelous unique creature. The exhibition is part of the "Campania!" initiative in Brussels, offering a month of exhibits, concerts, theatre performances, films and debates, organised by the institute, to discover the most original voices of the art and culture of the Campania region. vel
