Marseilles - The costumes created by costume designer, set decorator and writer Danilo Donati will be representing Italy at the 'Flâneries d'art contemporain et littérature dans les jardins Aixois' being held on Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25.
The festival, now in its 11th year, will showcase the works of twelve internationally acclaimed artists, painters, sculptors, photographers, plastic arts experts, designers and ceramic artists, whose creations will be exhibited in private gardens across the city of Aix-en-Provence.
The exhibits will include the 7 costumes designed by Donati for Federico Fellini's 1970 movie 'The Clowns'. The exhibition opening will be attended by Francesca Fabbri Fellini as guest of honor and will feature readings by Catherine Arditi of excerpts from Edith Bruck's "Letter to My Mother".
