Moscow - The Ambassador of Italy, Cesare Maria Ragaglini, leads a system mission in Ekaterinburg, the capital city of the Russian region of Sverdlovsk. The mission, organized by the ICE Office in Moscow, involves 20 Italian companies active in the fields of mechanics, construction, furnishings and logistics. The region is one of the most open to foreign investments in the Russian Federation, also offering interesting investment opportunities for Italian companies.
The key moment of the program will be the "Italy meets Urals" investment forum, during which meetings between Italian and Russian businesses will take place.The ambassador also pays a visit to Enel's power plant (the company manages two power plants in the region - this is the main Italian investment in Russia) and hosts a lecture at the Ural Federal University on Italian-Russian relations. The program also includes a meeting between Ambassador Ragaglini, Kuyvashev, governor pro tempore of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Rojzman, the Mayor of Ekaterinburg.
