Leonardo: DRS finalizes purchase of Daylight Solutions

Rome - Through their American subsidiary company, Leonardo DRS, Leonardo has finalized the purchase of Daylight Solutions Inc., leader in the development of quantum cascade laser technology products. The purchase received the approval of Daylight Solution shareholders and the essential regulatory authorizations, including approval from the US antitrust authorities and the Foreign Investment Commission in the United States.

The integration of Daylight Solutions will allow Leonardo DRS to become a world leader in advanced laser technology, electro-optics and infrared systems for defense."Innovation is at the center of Leonardo DRS and Daylight Solutions and will allow for the achievement of a number of exceptional technological innovations in the growing business of infrared laser system" confirmed William J.
