Vicenza - Mogees an Italian start-up based in London, which transforms objects into musical instruments, was granted financing of a million pounds.
The Italian Angels for Growth (IAG), Italy's largest business angels network, is among the investors for this stage. IAG already invested 600,000 euros in Mogees in 2016.
The startup is the brainchild of a young musician from the Northern city of Vicenza, Bruno Zambolin. The other investors are: Elio Leoni Sceti, board director di ABInbev, a listed company that is the world leader in beer manufacturing (previously he was the CEO of Iglo and EMI records); Haim Perry, founder and member of the Board of directors of Hotels4U and Thomas Cook UK; Eric Nicoli CBE, former non executive president of the HMV Group plc and former EMI group president; and A.I. Music Group, set up by Siavash Mahdavi.
