Berlin - One of Italy's signature foods, pizza, will reign over Berlin for a whole week with the "True Italian Pizza Week." Berlin will host the event from April 6 to April 12, which is meant to celebrate one of the symbols of Italian cuisine with the help of the best pizza places in town.
Berlin residents will be able to cater to the participating 'pizzerias' asking for the week's menu: a true Italian pizza, offered in two different versions, plus the always ever present vegetarian options, a beer or a soft drink at the very special price of 10 euros per person. Some concerns will also include an Amaro Lucano digestive drink.
A Lavazza expresso can be bought at the price of one euro. A pizza map, where bus stops are replaced by the participating pizza places, will be available for Berliners to help them surf among the participating locales. The map should be saved and can be used again once the week is over.
