Italian cinema lands in Mozambique

Maputo - Maputo will host the second cycle of 'Cineforum', a festival of Italian cinema, organised by the Italian Embassy in the capital of Mozambique. The event will take place between March 16 to April 6.

The first of the four films is Paolo Genovese's 'Sei mai stata sulla luna?' [Ever been to the moon?], which will be screened at the Centro Culturale Spazio Italia in Maputo.

The initiative is part of a broad cultural agenda organised by the Italian Embassy in Mozambique, which seeks to enhance cultural, economic and social relations beween the two countries.

The programme ranges from a Jazz Festival to conferences, exhibitions and other events, and will occur on the occasion of the Week of the Italian Language, the Week of Italian Culture and the Week of Italian Cuisine.
