Roma - Se LinkedIn non e' riuscito a mandare in soffitta il curriculum vitae come strumento di ricerca del lavoro, di sicuro ha rivoluzionato virtualmente le stanze delle risorse umane. Fondato nel 2002, e' il primo social network completamente dedicato al mondo del lavoro che l'utente utilizza come una vetrina, aggiornando e valorizzando la propria situazione professionale. Non solo: attraverso LinkedIn e' possibile creare una rete di contatti che confermano le competenze del 'candidato'. Una sorta di prima scrematura digitale per le aziende in cerca di personale.Nato da un'idea di Reid Hoffman, il modello si e' rivelato un successo tanto che oggi vanta oltre 430 milioni di utenti nel mondo, in aumento del 19% nell'ultimo anno. Diffuso in tutti i continenti cresce a una velocita' di 1 milione di iscritti alla settimana. Il 56% degli utenti risiede fuori dagli Stati Unitia, mentre l'India, il Regno Unito e il Brasile sono i Paesi col maggior numero. In totale LinkedIn copre circa 150 comparti economici e oltre 400 "regioni economiche".Quanto agli utenti, il 59% e' uomo mentre le fasce con piu' membri sono quelle dei 25-34enni e dei 35-55enni (entrambe col 36%). I settori con piu' iscritti risultano essere l'hi-tech (17%), la finanza (14%) e la manifattura (10%). Le funzioni maggiormente presenti sono quelle legate alla vendita (12%), all'insegnamento (10%) e all'amministrazione (10%).
