Miami - E' stato identificato l'assassino della cantante americana Christina Grimmie, star del popolare talent show della Nbc 'The Voice' uccisa al termine di uno dei suoi concerti a Orlando, in Florida: si chiamava Kevin James Loibl, 27 anni, e quando ha compiuto l'aggressione portava con se' due piccole pistole, munizioni e un lungo coltello da caccia. Ma e' ancora ignoto il movente del delitto. L'uomo, che si e' ucciso dopo aver sparato alla cantante 22enne che in quel momento stava firmando autografi al termine del concerto, era arrivato da un'altra localita' della Florida con l'intenzione di aggredire la star, ha detto la polizia. Il giovane era originario di Saint Petersburg.

Il capo della polizia di Orlando, John Mina, ha detto che non e' stata trovata alcuna auto collegata all'autore degli spari. Le autorita' hanno anche segnalato che non ci sono indizi di una relazione tra l'attaccante e la vittima o che il killer avesse tentato di contattare l'interprete attraverso Internet o le reti sociali, dove Grimmie aveva molti fan.

"Tutto fa pensare che l'uomo abbia agito da solo, ma stiamo cercando il suo telefono e il suo computer con la speranza di trovare piste" che permettano di decifrare il movente del crimine, ha aggiunto il commissario. Intanto, le autorita' di Orlando si interrogano sulle misure di sicurezza nel teatro, il Plaza Live: non c'erano metal detector, anche se le guardie di sicurezza, peraltro disarmate, che erano all'ingresso potevano controllare le borse per verificare l'eventuale presenza di armi.
