(AGI) Islamabad, Dec 17 - A day after the attack on a school inPeshawar, the Pakistani government has lifted the moratorium onthe death penalty for crimes linked to terrorism, a statementfrom Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's office said. This is thefirst concrete reaction to the bloody Taliban attack thatkilled 141 people on Monday, almost all of them children. Theheadline on the front page of Pakistan's daily English-languagenewspaper Express Tribune read "Our 9/11". Meanwhile, twogrenades exploded outside a girls' school in Dera Ismail Khanon Wednesday. Local media reported that there were nocasualties. Dera Ismail Khan is in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province,the capital of which is Peshawar, the city in which Tuesday'shorrific attack took place. (AGI).
