Three men dressed in black entered theCastelvecchio museum, tying up and gagging the site's securityofficer and a cashier before taking the paintings. Their haulincluded The Madonna of the Quail by Pisanello, Portrait of aChild with a Drawing by Giovanni Caroto, St. Jerome in theDesert by Jacopo Bellini and works of Tintoretto, Mantegna andPeter Paul Rubens.
