(AGI) Rho, Oct 23 - Hungary National Day was celebrated at ExpoMilano on Friday. The celebrations, opened by ItalianUnderSecretary for Defence Domenico Rossi, included dancing andsinging, displays of various kinds and traditional foodtastings. "Italy is Hungary's fifth economic partner and traderelations between the two countries create jobs for around28,000 Magyars. This country has extraordinary possibilitiesfor sustainable development in the agricultural sector and thefight against food waste. Hungary also plays a primary role inthe identification of dedicated policies for safeguardinganimal and plant species, and conserving biodiversity for thebenefit of future generations", said Mr Rossi. His address wasfollowed by a speech from Hungary's Minister for RuralDevelopment Sandor Fazekas, who declared: "More than twomillion people have visited our pavilion. Our cuisine is aparticular attraction. The Hungarian Pavilion represents ourcountry, finally liberated after the 1956 revolution. Sincethen our spirit of entrepreneurship encouraged us to startdefending and sharing European values, to carry out creativework and generate great products, exploiting our naturalresources, water in particular."
