(AGI) - Lecce, 15 set. - Si erano finti migranti, provati dal lungo viaggio che mercoledi' all'alba li aveva portati in Salento, ma gli investigatori del 'pool anti immigrazione' di Lecce li hanno individuati e arrestati. In carcere sono stati rinchiusi due cittadini siriani, ritenuti gli scafisti del veliero che nella notte tra martedi' e mercoledi' e' stato intercettato dalla guardia di finanza al largo di Capo Leuca e poi scortato fino al porto di Otranto. A bordo c'erano 75 persone, trasferite nel centro di accoglienza Don Tonino Bello di Otranto e a masseria Ghermi di Lecce. Gli investigatori in un primo momento avevano ipotizzato che gli scafisti avessero abbandonato il natante, fuggendo a bordo di un tender. Invece i due siriani si erano confusi tra i migranti, e avevano addirittura lamentato forti malesseri per essere trasferiti in ospedale piuttosto che nel Centro di accoglienza, sperando che da li' fosse piu' facile fuggire. Alcuni dei migranti, pero', li avevano fotografati durante la traversata, mentre si trovavano al timone della barca e, proprio quelle foto, li hanno inchiodati alle loro responsabilita'. (AGI)
