Moscow - Activities at the Italian embassy in Moscow continue to intensify economic relations with the Regions of the Russian Federation and identify new investment opportunities for Italian companies. From the Urals to Northern Caucasus: following the economic mission at Yekaterinburg (19-20 June), the ambassador Ragaglini will take part in the "Italy meets Caucasus" forum, opening today in the city of Yessentuki, in the Stavropol Region.
As well as the ambassador, there will be other institutions from the national economic system, business associations and 42 companies active in the food farming, hospitality, catering and medical industries, the most promising industries in the region. Ambassador Ragaglini's program includes an encounter with the governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, and participation at the opening of the Forum, presentation of the "Get Treatment in Italy" project (aimed at encouraging medical tourism among Russian citizens) and at an event for the urban-architectural development of the region.
Northern Caucasus, especially the Stavropol region, offers favorable conditions and extremely interesting opportunities for our companies working in the food farming, hospitality, catering and medical industries" declared Ragaglini. "We need to be able to attract them before our competitors. I hope the mission will serve as a driving force to encourage other Italian companies to be drawn to this promising market", concluded the ambassador.
