Berlin - The Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin is holding an event entitled "Primavera della letteratura italiana" [Italian Literature in Spring] on May 29. Pietro Bartolo and Lidia Tilotta will take part in the "An das Leid gewohnt man sich nie" event, chaired by Christina Schmidt.
This event brings the best of Italian contemporary literature to Berlin every year. This year's event, the sixth, includes nine events where the authors present their work. Writers invited include Daria Bignardi, Paolo Rumiz, Michela Murgia and Andrea Bajani. Gabriella Caramore and Maurizio Ciampa will take part in the closing event, on June 12, by launching their novel "La vita non e' il male" [Life is not Evil].
