Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles unveils new Fiat 500 in Turin

(AGI) Turin, July 3 - The new Fiat 500 was unveiled in Turin onThursday by Luca Napolitano, the head of Fiat in the Europe,Middle East, and Africa area. Fiat-Chrysler Automobile's CEO,Sergio Marchionne, was present for the event, held in Fiat'shistoric "Lingotto" site. "An icon is not changed, it'srenovated. We redesigned 1900 components, almost 40 percent ofthe total, but even more than before, it's a Fiat 500,"Napolitano stated. "We worked on its design, ecology,infotainment, safety, and opened a new frontier incustomization. Retail prices will be in line with currentlevels: in Italy these will start at 13,500 euros.
