Italy loses appeal against EU youth agenda refund request

(AGI) Brussels, Oct 1 - Italy has lost its appeal against a235,000-euro youth programme refund request filed by theEuropean Commission. The Luxembourg-based European Court ofJustice on Wednesday ruled that youth agenda funds grantedbetween 2000 and 2006 had been spent inappropriately. Asignificant share of the funds had been earmarked in favour ofthe European Voluntary Service, an EU-wide volunteer worknetwork. . .
